Hello!

This week, I am sharing a short lesson by Billie, from the Youtube channel Billie English. She is talking about sentence stress.

In connected speech, some words are stressed and some aren't. And within stressed words, only the main syllable (word stress) will be pronounced clearly with a proper vowel sound. This creates the beat and rhythm associated with English (time stressed language).
